DEPOT Soho (45 Foubert’s Place) is the transformation of a former warehouse and postal depot into contemporary office space. Designed by Buckley Gray Yeoman for Aviva Investors, the refurbishment retained elements of the building's industrial character while introducing new fourth and fifth floors and outdoor terraces for the building’s users.
The Outdoor Deck Company installed Millboard decking across external areas at basement, fourth and fifth-floor levels. The decking was installed over a southern yellow pine sub-frame supported by Buzon pedestals, creating a level and durable build-up across the different terrace areas.
At roof level, the decking helps create a new communal outdoor space above the surrounding streets of Soho, extending the workspace beyond the building itself and providing an attractive external amenity for occupiers.
