The project

The Outdoor Deck Company were commissioned to refurbish the external terraces of several top floor apartments located on Nile Street, moments from Old Street, London.

One client specified Ipe timber as they wanted a long-lasting deck that was strong, durable and could withstand all external forces. Ipe is a wood of extremes, not only is it extremely dense and durable but is known to resist damage caused by insects, wood rot, mould growth, scratches and UV rays.

Buzon UK supplied and installed DPH adjustable pedestals, which were used to support the Ipe deck boards.

The finished deck is rich in tone and colour and provides the perfect surface for the newly created outdoor decked terrace.
