The project

Battersea Reach has transformed a derelict brownfield site on the banks of the River Thames into a vibrant new urban quarter. This award-winning development consists of 1,350 apartments spread over 14 separate buildings surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens, riverside piazzas, shops and cafes.

The Outdoor Deck Company installed Millboard composite decking and paving on the DPH pedestal system to many of the terraces and balconies across the 14 separate apartment buildings.

The DPH pedestal system is perfect for use at roof level as it allows for 5% slope correction and can accommodate a range of services beneath floor level as well as giving excellent drainage.

Battersea Reach has been awarded Best Housing Project (Large Development), LABC Building Excellence Awards 2011 and Best New Housing Project, National Homebuilder Design Awards 2000.
