The project

The Television Centre transforms the existing BBC Television centre into a mixed-use development that combines office and studio space for the BBC, entertainment and leisure facilities, new housing, a hotel and office space, alongside high-quality public open spaces.

Working with Gillespies and Maylim, the Outdoor Deck Company were commissioned to supply and install Cumaru benches and seating areas with bespoke metal work including hand rails and arm rests (designed by our in-house team) to the refurbished Helios Plaza area.

In the famous external forecourt, perfectly spaced FSC Cumaru cladded doors were installed to the services/access and general storage area, for a seamless look.

These new public spaces create accessible pedestrianised routes and vibrant green spaces for residents and visitors to this exciting new redevelopment.
