One of the biggest challenges our installation team faced whilst onsite at the Princess Alice Hospice was working on the main structure whilst being submerged in water.
Both the existing timber frame and main structure were fully submerged in water from the large koi pond surrounding the building. Thankfully the cool water was a welcome relief from the super hot temperatures our teams experienced this summer.
Millboard composite decking was installed to provide a non-slip and safe surface for the exterior terraces overlooking the large outdoor pond.
