Here’s a little insight into how Mat King from Pixel Panda created the new Outdoor Deck Company logo:
“Looking at the old logo I wanted to bring it up to date with a fresh and modern look without losing the character of the original. When I think about a company brand it has to relate to their products, so before I started designing I sat with the owner `Mike Wilderink` to see what ideas he had and how I could incorporate this into the logo.
I then made around five basic sketches to show Mike, and together we chose one for me to work on with more detail , playing with different fonts, sizes and a number of different colours. I believe the final logo works very well across all platforms from print to web.”
