Hospice patients and their visitors can relax in the sunshine this summer due to a recent donation of £6400 from the Outdoor Deck Company Ltd.
The Princess Alice Hospice in Esher, has been able to buy outdoor furniture for the new Millboard decking area that Outdoor Deck was commissioned to replace. The new deck provides an attractive and tranquil safe outdoor space for a number of patient rooms, providing beautiful views across the Hospice waterside.
Hospice Facilities Manager, Martin Osborn, said: “We were already pleased and impressed with the new decking from The Outdoor Decking Company, which provides our patients and visitors in the front and west-facing rooms with a relaxing and peaceful outdoor space.” “The recent generous donation from them has been used to buy new comfortable Rattan outdoor furniture, which is both attractive and weatherproof – it’s ideal”.
The Princess Alice Hospice is a local charity that has, for more than 30 years, provided free, high quality, specialist end of life care to tens of thousands of people across a large part of Surrey.
The Outdoor Deck company is committed to supporting local charities to help our local community.
