Project Description
The six-level development located on the banks of the River Thames goes far beyond sport, offering enhanced pitch side seating alongside a boutique hotel, state-of-the-art spa, members club with a rooftop bar, high-end restaurants, meeting and event spaces, and a basement entertainment zone with a cinema and sports bar.
The stand's exciting architecture maximises sweeping riverside views with numerous balconies and roof terraces, inviting both fans and visitors to enjoy the surroundings.
The Outdoor Deck Company were contracted to supply and install multiple outdoor areas, including 1,200 m² of Bamboo X-treme on the riverside promenade, 100 m² of Silvadec Cayenne composite decking on the level one balcony of Brasserie Constance, as well as the fifth floor bar area and balcony. With a double grip strip added to the Bamboo X-treme and the commercial-grade slip resistance of Silvadec, both products are well suited for use on demanding public spaces. The installation included specialist service points necessary for access to under-deck services.
The Buzon DPH pedestal range was chosen to support all the decking, due to the precise integral slope corrector and high live-load capability, perfect for raising the deck above the services and capable of correcting any falls or differences in levels. This was especially important for the promenade area which needs to withstand static and moving food trucks.
Following the successful delivery of the earlier phases, The Outdoor Deck Company returned for the level five hospitality areas, supplying and installing 330m² of Bamboo X-treme decking across the external terrace alongside the installation of a porcelain decking system around the bar areas.
As with the riverside promenade, the level five works required careful coordination around under-deck services, including cabling, water pipes and lighting infrastructure, with access points integrated to support inspection and maintenance.
